Auf Anregung von und in Zusammenarbeit mit der Schwarzen HU-Dozentin Natasha A. Kelly (http://www.natashaakelly.com/) haben wir ein Update unserer Broschüre erstellt, in dem wir begonnen haben die Fragen "Who is missing? And why?" zu beantworten. Wir haben dieses Update vor kurzem bei einer Führung für Natasha A. Kellys Seminar "Visuelle Kolonialität: Die Ent_Wahrnehmung von sozialen Positionen in kolonialen Bildre_produktionen" vorgestellt und in unsere Führung durchs Hauptgebäude integriert. 

Das Update werden wir nun noch überarbeiten und dann hier auf den Blog stellen. Vielen Dank nochmal für die Beiträge und das Feedback während der Führung und zum Broschüren-Update  an die Seminarteilnehme_rinnen und an Natasha A. Kelly!

Initiated by and in collaboration with the Black HU-professor Natasha A. Kelly (http://www.natashaakelly.com/) we began to answer the questions "Who is missing? And why?" by updating our leaflet. We presented this update recently at a guiding tour for Natasha A. Kelly's seminar "Visuelle Kolonialität: Die Ent_Wahrnehmung von sozialen Positionen in kolonialen Bildre_produktionen" and we integrated it in our tour through the main builiding. We are now going to revise the leaflet in order to upload it on the blog. Many thanks again to the seminar particip_ants and to Natasha A. Kelly for the contributions and the feedback during the guiding tour and regarding the leaflet update!

Treffen mit der Frauenbeauftragten und der Kustodin der HU / Meeting with the women's representative and the curator of HU

Am 28.6. haben wir uns endlich mit der Frauenbeauftragten und der Kustodin der HU, die für die Kunstsammlung der Uni zuständig ist, getroffen. Im Ergebnis wird es unter Umständen die Möglichkeit geben unsere Intervention (diesmal mit Erlaubnis) zu wiederholen und unsere Broschüren vor dem Büro der Frauenbeauftragen auszulegen. Außerdem werden wir in Zusammenarbeit mit der Kustodin eine Änderungen bezüglich der fehlenden Kontextualsierungen der im Hauptgebäude ausgestellten Skulpturen und Portraits. Konkrete Umsetzungen werden wir auf dem Blog bekanntmachen.

At june 28th we finallly met with the women's representative of the HU and with the curator, who is taking care of the university's art collection. The result of this meeting is that we might get the chance to repeat our intervention, this time with approval, and to lay out our leaflets in front of the women's representative's office. Apart from that we will start to collaborate with the curator in order to realize some changes regarding the missing contextualizations of the exhibited sculptures and portraits in the main building. Concrete realizations will be announced on the blog.
